Dears in the Lord, a few months have passed since we wrote our last letter and for this reason we ask your forgiveness. We had a summer very busy!

During the wonderful time in England, we not only had a chance to join the Mission Order’s Conference in Bristol, but we also had some rest at the Western’s house in Sheffield. We had been refreshed there and we could prepare our self both physically and spiritually to go back home and to start our first youth camp as Jesus Generation.

We started with the teenagers: Boys and girls from 11 to 14 years old had the opportunity to share a wonderful time with each other and a precious time with God. We thought on
“ Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”(2 Corinthians 5:17)

The mornings were full of joyful activities and the evenings we met together to spend time at God’s presence and to let Him change our lives. Even though the structure of the meetings was pretty simple, with no worship band playing and no big preachers to speak, in absolute simplicity we praised and worshipped the Lord who evening after evening has shown His power in the life of those guys.

We had the privilege to see some of them accept Jesus as their Lord and some others renew their commitment and devotion to Christ.

Then we had the youth group formed of about 30 people almost all young couples with little children so as you can imagine it was not quite and easy. We taught on “ The Kingdom” and even though we weren’t sure of our organizing and teaching abilities, the Lord has given us grace to see His glory among us.

It was the first time we did something like that so we totally trust in Him who is always able to do more than we can wish and imagine and so He did!!

We rented the place for 3000 euro. The camp was already started and we were still lacking of more than 800 euro, and food to buy for another week. But, before the end of it we had all the money required and everyone’s belly satisfied!! Praise the Lord..He is amazing and always faithful!

After almost 4 weeks of camping in which we had been involved in every area, we had to move, we left the villa to go and live in an apartment. As almost everything here in Italy the move was not easy.

It has taken about 3 weeks to be able to cook and eat in our new house and almost a month to be able to take a shower! During this time though we have seen God’s provision through the generosity of many people who have given us furniture and money to buy all the things we needed.

We are happy to say that now we have a very nice and comfortable home thank the Lord. The location of this apartment makes our life easier because we do not need to take the car to do anything like it was in the past and 90% of the people who attend to the same church we go lives in the same area.

Please pray the Lord that we will have many opportunities to share the Gospel with our neighbors.

A few days ago we found a new place also for the Saturday meetings, it is in the city centre so it is easier to reach and we hope that would encourage many people to join it.
The main church is still looking for a new place where to meet and beside that it is in a delicate time so please pray for us that the Lord will guide us and provide us with the wisdom this time requires.

Please pray also for:
· Strenght and passion for the work God has given us to do
· Our finance and a new car
· Protection for the core team (Unity and discernement)
· For Mission AGAPE: The work at the refugee camp is going well, their trust toward us has increased and we thank Lord for now some other churches are willing to join us in it. So please keep on praying for “AGAPE” that we will be able to show the pure and perfect love of God, to the needy of our city.

Dears in Christ,
Thanks to all have faithfully been praying for us, we really need and appreciate your prayers. Here it is a little update from Sicily.
We give all the glory to God for the wonderful baptism service we had on Sunday the 27th of May, it was simply glorious, His presence was tangible and His Word was anointed and powerful so that many people who were attending it have been touched! We really thank the Lord for Ketty, Fabrizio and Agnese, for their declaration to belong to Jesus our only Savior and Lord. Please keep on praying for them and for their walk with God.

Last week-end we have been to one of the bigger mole in Catania to preach the gospel. Trough the mechanic bull we received again the opportunity to stay in that place having the chance to talk to so many people to pray for many of them and to distribute lots of Christian literature. We would like to share with you some prayer request about that.
We are going to be again in that mole at the end of June, so please pray that the Lord will use us again for the salvation of many people.

We do not have much literature left and we realize that beside the gospels or the new testaments that we have been given the rest of the tracks are often not really adequate and relevant especially for the young people. We have made a little booklet with some of our stories, words of songs, pictures and thoughts about God which we are trying to publish but we do not have all the money required, so please pray for this project that the Lord will give us grace to rise some money and to publish it so that it can be a valid and relevant tool for all the other evangelistic events in the future.

This coming week-end our Saturday night meeting will be focusing on physical healing. After a time of worship we want to give God the opportunity to show us His love and His power ministering to us His healing, so please pray for us that we can clearly hear and follow His leading and that we can see powerful healings and God’s touch on the lives of many.

On Sunday after our regular morning service, there will be, in the afternoon, a concert of Michal W. Smith and Marco and I will be serving, during this event, translating for the different situations. Please pray for us for an improved ability during the translation and that this event will result at the glory of God and for the blessing of all who will take part at the concert.

In the end but not for it’s less important, please pray for guidance and direction for we are still looking for a new location for the church meetings and for us as family. We understood that the place we have been praying until now was not the place the Lord wanted to give us and so we started to look somewhere else. The time now though it’s going to be short because we really wish we will not have to spend another winter in this place so we need to move during the summer.

We trust the Lord and His mercy and provision for us as it always have been.

Dears in Christ we had a very blessed week end! The Lord has done more than I could imagine..

I had a great time with some of the guys who are coming ones a month to “Koinonia”, our man’s meeting. With them we spent 2 days in a wild and fantastic place in Sicily.

We slept in tends on the shores of a lake with the fire just in the middle of the camp, we did a barbeque and shared to each other our hearts. The morning after with a 4x4 car we reached another isolated place in the middle of the forest where we had a very powerful meeting with the Lord Jesus.
It was amazing to feel His presence touching our hearts!

Thank you Lord.

On Sunday we had a Baptism service. Another 3 people fruit of Jesus Generation has been baptized!! Praise the Lord. We celebrated this day on the beach, about 100 people came for the service and joined us for lunch .

The Lord’s presence was very real. I had the privilege to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ during the service. There were many people who were not Christian who went back home touched from the Holy Spirit and which we hope to meet soon to talk a little more about God.
It is always amazing to see someone who gives his life to the Lord and is being transformed by His love. Fabrizio, Ketty and Agnese have been a testimony of what the Lord can do when a person opens the door of his heart to the Lord Jesus.

They are the answer of Jesus to many people’s prayers. He is faithful and able to save, to heal and to set people free… still today.

I have been encouraged from what the Lord gave me the privilege to see during this last week end to keep on serving Him, and seeking His Kingdom in everything I do by His grace.

If you are reading this blog and you feel discouraged because you did not see yet what your heart desires, or maybe you have been praying for someone’s salvation or healing and it did not happened yet.. I very strongly tell you, please don’t give up but keep on fighting, praying and waiting on Jesus. He will answer your prayer just on the right time!

I would like to share through this video our week end of Mission in Ragusa.
The Lord gave a us the privilege to see His glory among us.
He used all of us as instrument in His hands. While we were on the square, I went to talk to a guy called Salvo. He got saved and he went to the church on Saunday. Praise the Lord!!

We had the chance to share the Gospel with many other people who were all around us. The Holy Spirit was there!! You could feel it!! Making everyone hearts open for the Gospel.

All the glory and all the Praise goes to HIM!

Dears in Christ,

We are sorry we have not found the time to write before but these past months have been pretty busy and hard for us.
Since last year some more young couples have joined us and although this is a great joy it is also a wider responsibility. We are asking, as Paul prayed: “That he would grant us, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man” (Eph.3:16) and like Salomon : “ Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?” (1 Kings 3:9).

We trust that because we know we are weak and not capable, He will give us His strength and His ability to fulfill the call He has given us. Please keep on praying for us that we will be able to honor Him in everyway.
God is teaching and calling us to learn more about His kingdom and how to let it come on our city.

We are very exited to let you know that in a couple of weeks four more people will get baptized, while many others are becoming more serious with God, and some others are just starting to become hungry for Him. We are still disciplining a group of people that is basically our core team, and running Bible studies for old and new Christians.
This coming week-end we will go with the youth to minister together with a couple who just started a church in a village close to Ragusa, about 150 km away from Catania, and we are trying to organize some more evangelistic event for this coming summer.

We already have found a very nice place where we can have a Christian summer camp in the month of August and all the guys especially the teenagers are so exited about!!! Please pray for the opportunity the Lord will give us to spread the gospel this coming week-end and during the summer, and for the camp that it could be a great opportunity for us to minister to the youth let them grow in the Lord.

Just before the past Christmas Marco has become a new mission we called “AGAPE”. Once a month we bring clothes and food, to the poor and freedom to the captive we meet in the streets of our city.

This ministry as well as the enlarged responsibility toward a bigger number of people’s lives, has had of course, a huge impact on the darkness realm, so spiritual attacks on our lives have increased too.

We could have many others stories to share with you, but we will only say that our Lord Jesus is faithful and good all the time, He always works for His people, with His people and through His people, and that we are glad and privileged to serve Him here in Sicily.

Please pray for :

1) The new place for the church, Jesus Generation, and our new house
( we are still in the process to buy the building we saw in October)
2) A new car ( we really need one!)

But more than anything else please pray for a deeper awareness of our identity and of His glorious Majesty, and : “that he would grant us, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in our hearts by faith; that we, being rooted and grounded in love may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that we might be filled with all the fullness of God.” (Eph. 3:16,20)

Here there are some of the photo from the day on the seal boat "the next wave". Cinzia, Roberta and Melinda cooked for 40 people a very good Sicilian meal. These guys came from all over the word to serve the Lord here in Catania (Sicily).

It has been a privilege for us to serve them for a day. A team of 13 people will be with us from the 24th to the 25th of Jenuary. they will be involve with Jesus Generation' mission and our church.

Hello everyone, here there is a little update of the last two weeks, from the Basile’s and Jesus Generation.

As everyone knows the 31st of October is Halloween, even though in Italy until a couple of years ago this “peculiar holyday” was pretty much unknown, now it is a very famous occasion for parties and festivals in a special way in schools and among young people.

Without going on details about the origins or the meaning of this celebration, we want to share with you that we were not happy at all when Sofia last year (her first year at preschool), and even more this year told us she wanted to dress like a “little witch” and celebrate Halloween!!

We also have a very important catholic tradition here on the second of November, it is the day when you remember and honour your late relatives by going to visit them at the cemetery bringing them some flowers and praying for them. To thank you for the visit and the love you show to them, during the night they live toys under the beds of the children whom, of course, will wait with great expectation the “day of the dead”

We understood we needed to explain to Sofia why that celebration was wrong but at the same time we should give her something else to celebrate so we thought to start a new festival, we started “the angels day” in which we thank our Heavenly Father for the angels He sends to protect us, for the provision (she found a present under her bed)because He is a good Father, and in which, when she will be a little bit older, we will remember and reflect on all the people who have given their lives for the sake of the gospel (all saints day).

We made together an angel pumpkin and a “paradise cake” (that’s the name of the recipe) which we shared on the Saturday with all the children we were with. The cake was amazing and everyone was so excited about this idea that we decided to organize a bigger party next year for all the children who want to celebrate God instead of dead people or Halloween!!!

This same week there were in Catania about four different conferences for young people,
( this will tell you about the situation of the churches in our city), I was asked to help in one of this with the translation because the speaker invited trough Italy For Christ, was Mike Haman from Healing Church South Louisiana.

This conference had many seminars to equip young leaders and as it was last year it brought a big blessings to everyone was attending. I specifically thank the Lord for it was an opportunity to heal my heart and my relationship with the leaders of the church which was hosting the conference.

I believe God is going to do something special to heal the relationship between the many pastors of the many church that there in Catania.

Please pray for the real unity would be established again within His body in our city.

Yesterday 4 of November we finally managed to go around the streets of our city, to bring food and blankets to the poor people, but more than this to bring to them a word of encouragement, the message of the salvation and healing trough prayer for their bodies and their souls.

We met together in the afternoon to make an hot meal to give out in individual portions with a bottle of water. We prepared 15 meals to start with and we gave it all out. It was such a special time, we felt God’s presence in a very strong way, He ministered to our Spirit blessing us more than we blessed those people.

Everyone accepted with joy our offer to pray for them and we gave them Christian literature in Arabic for they were almost all Muslim.
We count to go back every two weeks but as you can imagine we need prayers for more volunteers, and more resources (literature to give out), please pray for us and for this new ministry we called “Agape”.

Thanking all of you once again for your love and your commitment toward us we ask you to keep on praying for our family and ministry needs:

Wisdom to use our time (a health rhythm of life) and our money.
An anger bigger every day for His word and the wisdom to share it to others.
Clear directions for the new steps (new place to live, the cafeteria project).
A new car.

So a quick update:

September was a month with Richard fom Exeter (he comes every year) which was spent translating for him in 5 different churches and being involved in Ministry with him. It was a great time receiving from the word of God.

October has started and we had a great 4th birthday party with Sofia with loads of children sharing the day with her.

We are looking at moving again. It feels like we have been on a journey of stepping stones and are not yet at our final place. Our vision and heart remains the same to see a generation come back to Jesus, to do this we must impact the churches which are fragmented by division and sin.

We have found a potential property for the next step and have peace about it but don't feel like there is a feeling of "wow this is where we are meant to be." The property fits what the people of the church are asking God for, but is not what we had necessarily in mind. However, at the meoment we are tied into the church of Cinzia's father and this would make an ideal place for them and would be a place where we could settle some of our rhythm issues as we need to spend more time seeking His face and it is hard where we are.

To settle the church on this next stepping stone would allow us freedom to move away from it for the next step. A potential concern is that the money that the church has given to us would be tied into this property and would leave us with nothing financially but He is a big God and it might also free us more.

The new place has a school 2 minutes walk away a playground next to it , supermarket and bar a few minutes away on foot and lots of the current chrch members within 5 minutes walk - all of which is not the case where we are at the moment where we have to drive everywhere (even to put the rubbish out).

The new place is for sale which is different from the renting that we have been doing, however, this again shows that it could be a permenant base for the church. There is 400k euros in the bank but the property is currently set at 570k. It has a small garden is on 4 floors (the ground floor is 5m high at least) and has 6 bedrooms.

Tchad and Andrea are with us at the moment and are processing with us.

Dear Ones
Thank you so much to all of you for your prayers, messages and encouraging words.

I must give glory to God for He does always everything perfect. He allowed this Devil’s attach because from it He took glory! From the first moment of the accident all the guys from Jesus Generation were pushed to help with all the things I needed to do and I could not do it and this took away the idea of everyone’s mind of “ I do not need to worry.. someone else will do it”.

Everyone scarifying their holiday time was willing to help in every possible way. In the meantime the Lord was showing me that He can accomplish thing without me!! I’m not indispensable, that was painful. I tried desperately to be involved in something until a clear friends of mine on the phone told me I was acting in my strength, disobeying at the Lord’s will. At the point, the team from Milan was already here. I accepted God’s will and I cried with all my heart to Him to be healed. God answer that prayer!

I was prayed for and God instantly healed me. I was able again to turn my neck around without any pain to lift up weight to load and unload the van with the instruments and all the equipments for the concert. Praise the Lord!

It was the first time I experience a physical healing and it was exiting!

This 15 days with these 15 people form Milan have been great. Very tiring especially for Cinzia but of a huge blessing at the same time for everyone of us. It was not only a time of outreach but a time that God used to speech to all of us about holiness, depress in Him and consecration. We have seen Him working in a powerful way in all of us and through us. We had 4 concert in our city and 2 more in a city near us. (you can see the video on www.stagione.blogspot.com).

Besides all the difficulties the devil has put on our way we have seen many people touched by the Lord praying with us to invite Jesus in their hearts during every concert. We trust he has prepared for us great things for this coming autumn and we are confident He will accomplish this will in us and through us.

Please continue to pray for the new location we are still looking for. We are praying that God will give us and the leadership of the senior church the same vision and direction so that we may continue to walk together in harmony.

We need to decide if we are going to buy a place where to meet and to start the cafeteria or instead to rent that kind of place and save the money we have for the big property we are still looking for and where we’d like to live in a community and to run a Mission Centre for training young people, have a Christian camps and many other things.

If you would like to have more information about this vision and what the Lord has put in our hearts about it, please ask us and we will send you all the information you’ll like to have.

For Jesus Generation as we will move to the next season with the Lord.Pray for more of HIM among the group , that we may grow in intimacy and passion for Jesus.

Hello everyone,
After a week from my accident I’m still in bed and I’m wearing the collar, but I really feel much better. My neck gives me still a little bit of pain, but I believe the Lord is healing it.
The entire house is like a theatre. The team from Milan is using every room to practise dramas, to dance and to play music. Last night we had a time of intersection and prayer and the Lord came and visited all of us. It was amazing!!
Unfortunately another guy from the team had an accident in Milan. He closed his hand on a press machine at work and he broke one of his fingers. The enemy is trying to stop us but the Lord once again reminded us that He is in Control and nothing will happen to us out of His perfect will for us.
Already the Lord gave us the privilege to lead someone to Him. Yesterday in the morning came in our house a salesman who knows us and who come to our place every other week. This guy came to sale some food to us and he left our place after praying the Salvation Prayer and inviting Jesus in his heart!! Glory to GOD… He is amazing…
I’m very grateful for what has happened to me. I had the wonderful opportunity to rest and to spend time with Jesus. He has been faithful, lovely and His presence has been with me every moment of my days, giving me the joy and the strength for a time like this.
I really thank you all of you for your prayers, phone calls and words of encouragement.

An urgent prayer request:

Last Saturday night while we were in a square having an outreach with the mechanic bull, Marco had a very bad accident. The night was going very well. Marco and the guys of Jesus Generation were distributing Gospels and talking with lots of people around the place.
Some of them asked Marco to show them how to ride the Bull, so Marco did it. While he was riding the bull something strange happened. After a very weird fly, Marco hit the air mattress with his head first and then he bent his neck very badly. He was not able to move for a few seconds and the people started to gather around to see what had happened, so he ask for help to get out of the air mattress to not scare anymore the crowd.
We helped Marco to get up and let him sitting on a short wall along the road, but after a couple of minutes he lost his sense. We called the ambulance and they brought Marco to the First Aim. The doctor said that there is nothing broke, but there is a Trauma on his neck. For about 2 weeks Marco must rest and wear a collar that will keep his head still he needs some injection everyday for the pain and to relax the muscles.
We really believe that all of this was an attach from the enemy. We are going to have a very busy time working for the Kingdom. At the end of this week 16 people from Milan will come to have a time of outreach around our city. We know that the enemy is not happy about it. The battles already started and we need your prayers. Marco need to be healed very soon and we want to see God’s glory among our people winning souls for HIM!!
Some of the verses that Marco found very inspiring are the same words the apostle Paul wrote to 2 Corinthias 4:3-13

And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing.
In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake.
For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.
We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair;
persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;
always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies.
For we who live are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.
So death is at work in us, but life in you.
Since we have the same spirit of faith according to what has been written, "I believed, and so I spoke," we also believe, and so we also speak

Hello everyone,

Just if you can pray for us today. We will have another night with the mecchanic bull in one of the village here in Catania.

We want use this opportunity to share the Gospel, meet people and show Jesus to them.

We need your prayers.. In the village where we are going to be tonight there is a very havy sense of evil presence. We tryed already to have a night like this one about 1 month ago, and we could not make it because we faced lots of problems and obstacols.

Dear brothers and sisters,
we’d love to up date you all with what our summer time is about, so that, as always, you can support us with your prayers and love.
Just before Sicilian school had finished we took the chance to see our second family in Sheffield in occasion of the TOM gathering in June. There were two friends of us who wanted to come with us in England to find out a little more about St. Thomas and the Order of Mission. God allowed us to find reasonable tickets for the flight and a great deal for a car rental so together with our friends we went and had a wonderful time as always. It was fantastic to see the friends of the Order and to listen at the different stories from all over the world, and it was great to see since the first night, our little Sofia enjoying the company of everyone. She went around the room saying “hello” to everybody and then she run away because that was the only thing she can say in English for now!! The teaching was powerful and challenging and the idea of organizing a TOM gathering in Italy even more challenging!!! The rest of the week it was spent with the Western’s who are always loving and caring for us and who organized a beautiful good-bye barbecue ruined a bit by the rain, but we know by now that this is the fashion of England!!!!

When we came back there were already hundreds of things to do and we looked forward to some holiday time the Lord had provided for us in Calabria.

Beautiful beaches and very clear water, it was great, we were together with some member of our core team and especially the kids had a fantastic time. We enjoyed the place and the company as well but it was honestly not enough time to rest and some complications as the broke of the lift, that was supposed to take us at the fifth floor, made it more difficult to rest…… anyway we are thankful to the Lord for this time and we trust He will give us the grace to face the busy time in August we are going to have. Another beautiful beach-day we had it was last Saturday, when some friends from England Jenny and Gareth Irvine and Gareth’s mum came to visit us. They were having some vacation in Sicily and they took the chance to come and say hello to us and to Jesus generation’s guys. We spent the day at the beach and then we decided to have some worship time there instead of going back to have the Saturday meeting. It was great ! at the end we shared some testimony and we asked if anyone needed some prayer, two of the guys that were there who are not Christian yet, said they wanted to be more serious with Jesus and so we prayed for them. It was a very deep moment and everyone was blessed. Thank God!
We are specially thankful for another great chance the Lord has given us to testimony of His glorious name. starting from yesterday 22th of July for two weeks in the city center of Catania in one of the busiest street , in the middle of other commercial adverts there will be also a big one which says: “Christ has preferred to dye for you than living without you” and then our web site. It is the first time the church here does something like that but we are so happy and confident the Lord will use this opportunity to touch some people hearts. Please pray for this creative way to share the gospel in our city.
As we said August will be a very busy month, we will have the joy and the privilege to host a group of people from Milan, called “Stazione di Lode”. They are around 17 people and with them we are organizing some evangelistic events with music, mimes and dance. Please pray that the several permissions we had request would be approved, so that we can have the opportunity to talk of our Lord Jesus to as many people as possible during the fifteen days this group will stay with us. Please pray also for the time together in the house so that everything will go smooth and easy, and the Lord would bless everyone of us trough this time.

Other prayer request:
We are still looking for a new place where to move, please pray for guidance and direction that we can walk only the way the Lord has designed for us.

Our finances, we still need a new car and in June Turi the guy who was living with us and was helping to pay part of the rent, has gone back to his family. Please pray for wisdom and for new sources of support.

For Jesus generation and the decision we have to make for the next season, as the decision to have again two different Sunday’s celebration or to keep on staying all together as we are doing on summer time, please pray for wisdom, guidance, discernment so that we could hear clearly God’s voice and we could wholly follow it.

Sorry it's taken so long for me to update this, we've been very busy recently but hope that the testimony of what God's been doing with us is an encouragement to you.

MARCH

In March we shared an amazing time of intimacy with God and ministry within our church when our friends Bob and Mary Hopkins, and Bruce and Colleen Mounsey came out to visit. Bruce and Colleen led a course on marriage and we invited 3 or 4 local churches to come and share with us, this was an amazing time of blessing for us and the time shared together was great fun and fellowship.

APRIL

In April I visited my brother and nephews in Brescia with my dad. It was a wonderful time together playing with the boys and just spending some time hanging out.
Later in the month Tchad and Andrea came over to visit for 10 days with Isaac and Natasha, as always this was a great family time for all of us and the children really enjoyed playing together.

While they were here we also took the Bull to a local shopping centre called Etnapolis (the biggest in Sicily).

We were invited to go for 10 days and in this time we were able to give out 900 gospels of John and share our faith. One testimony in particular was about a little boy called Christian who is only 9 years old. Christian came along every day to go on the bull and over the time we were able to build up a relationship, on the last day his uncle brought him along. We had the opportunity to speak to him and discovered that Christian had serious problems with his heart and was going to have a heart transplant in the next few weeks so we asked if we could pray for him so we asked for Jesus to touch his life and if you can remember him we ask that you would also keep him in your prayers, as his operation will be on the 27th May.

MAY

At the beginning of May we had another big event with the bull this time on Mount Etna. There was an incredible response as 5000 people were there giving us an amazing opportunity to teach the gospel and share our testimonies.

On the 11th May we had a brand new addition to our family when Agnese, Cinzias sister had a baby boy called Gabriele.

We have also been organising a big event for the 27th May called Live in concert Alternative music. We would ask you to keep this in your prayers, it will be an evangelistic night when a Christian band will play, we will do a drama and I will be sharing a word. We're praying for lots of non Christians to come and hear the gospel and that we can build relationships with people.

Right now we have an amazing team from England staying with us from our big family in St Toms. They have come to spend 5 days with us and we have the great priveledge of serving the Lord together in different ways.

January

Closing the past year we realize how much God has done for us, in us and trough us. Reflecting on the faithfulness of God of the past gives you a bigger confidence for the times to come, He is faithful and He always will be.
At the end of January trough the generosity of Tchad and Andrea, we celebrated our birthdays in England, having a fantastic time of rest and fun with the Western’s family which has now a new member: the beautiful and sweetest Natasha Hope ! We also had the chance to see friends and “Tom members” and as always we came back refreshed and reenergized.

February

For this year we decided to not have anymore the 24h prayer but a prayer meeting once a month with all the church members.

We are praying for direction and wisdom as the selling of the property comes to an end.

We started to look for a new place around the city center to host the church meetings and at the same time to run a cafeteria which will give us the chance to support our self, give others some job opportunities and to be constantly in touch with the young people outside the church environment.

March

March is a month of expectations, winter in this house has been really cold and difficult, so we are looking forward for spring time not only for warmer days but also to see the planted seeds to blossom out.
We will have the very much wished visit of Bob and Mary Hopkins and Bruce and Colleen Mounsey who will minister to the church and to Jesus Generation’s group. We are sure the Lord will use them mightily to bless all of us.

Pray for the visit of our English friends for protection and guidance as the will minister to us.

Pray for Sergio a guy who has contacted us after the outreach in December and who is really interested in knowing more about God, that his heart will receive God’s Word and be saved.

A couple of weeks ago we went to our friend Martino. We drove for about 3 hours to go to the other side of the island to pick to mechanic bull up and take it to Catania.

Martino bought this incredible machine to use it for the Kingdom. In fact we believe that using the bull on the piazza where lots of youth “live” during the week end we will have a great tool to reach theme and to preach the Gospel to them.

Because Martino had to go back to the US, he decided to leave the bull to us creating the opportunity to help the ministry of Jesus Generation. It is a wonderful blessing for us and we are praying that the Lord will open the right doors for us so we preach Jesus’ love to those who does not anything about it.

Last week end we had the visit of some people from the North of Italy. With some of them we planned different outreach for this coming summer. We really hope to be used from our Lord Jesus to bring many to the salvation and to see His Kingdom come among us. Because it we just started a prayer meeting with all the church once a month. We had the first one last night and it was amazing!

Cinzia, Sofia and I will be in Sheffield from the 28th of January to the 9th of February. The Lord gave us this wonderful opportunity to go to our “Spiritual home” among all the brothers and sisters we love. It will be a time of rest and recharging our “Spiritual battery”…. We need very much.

Thinking of this past year....

Hello everyone.. finally after all this “crazy” days I have found some time to update this blog.
December it has been a very busy month. We had lots of different activities here and also the privilege to host some friends from Rome .
As every end of the year I like to remember what the Lord has done month after month during this 2007.

January: The Lord gives us the new house where we are living at the moment. We have been so blessed by this place that I would ever imagined. We praise the Lord for His faithfulness and provision to pay the 1000 euro rent since the beginning. Tchad and Andrea come to see the new place and as good pioneers they are the first people to sleep in this new house.

February: Simon Ennis from Sheffield come to visit us and to have a time of retreat. We begin the man’s meeting once a month.

March: Some friends of us from US, Katy & Martino, come to spend the summer here in Sicily trying to plant a church in another city 200 miles away from us. Hanna and John from Sheffield with their lovely Josh come to have a test of the best country in the world “Sicily” J. We start again the 24h prayer every last Friday of the month.

April: Coventry’s team as every year since we are in Sicily, blessed us with their love and friendship. This time Jenny Campell from Sheffield joined the team to visit us. It was a time of “hearing from God” After 6 months of prayer and waiting for confirmation from the Lord, we started our youth meeting on Sunday. 10/04/2007 Jesus Generation is reconized as Charity!

May: the month starts with our trip to Rome. We went to worship the Lord with lots of other people from Italy for the Delirious’s concert. The first one in Italy. Turi and I have a chance to interview two of them . It was great to see their humbleness and their love for Jesus.

June: The first week end we take our “core team” to have a time of relax and fun to Martino and Katy’s house. It was great!! After a couple of weeks we go to Sheffield with Dario and Melinda and all the kids. This was a time of blessings and recharging our Spiritual battery attending to the Mission Order week end.

July: Tchad, Andrea and Isaac come back to have some beach time!! And some Family time…

August: Summer time. After a very busy winter and spring, the Lord provides for our family a wonderful week in one of the best coast of Sicily. Great see and amazing beach. With another 2 families we had a chance to rest while Sofia had lots of fun!! The Lord is good ..

September: Somebody said the most important month of the History!! Marina and Matteo a couple who is very involved in Jesus Generation Ministry, got married. After a very long engagement the Lord blessed them with a wonderful wedding. I had the privilege to preach in this very important occasion : I was terrified but the Lord helped me by His grace to share His word to them. This month we have Richard Curd’s visit. A dear friend of us who comes every year from Uk to ministry in different churches here in Catania. 3 guys from Jesus Generation got baptized!!! Davide (who was atheist until 2 years ago), Manuela and Noemi. Praise the Lord for this amazing day!
The Lord Jesus gave a wonderful week end to me and Cinzia to celebrate our 10 years anniversary.

October: As Jesus generation Group we go to a youth week end to meet other people from different churches in Sicily. It was good to meet again friends and worship God all together. Our old friend Scott Steelman was there too with a team from Healing Church in California. It was a blessing having this time with them!! I praise the Lord for such a lovely people He put around our lives. Sofia turns 3 year old and starts to go to pre-school.

November: We are involved as Jesus Generation, in serving the community where we live, In fact using our van we helped a big Charity to collect food from different super market for people in need. It was fantastic to see lots of different people and organization working for the same goal!

December: One of the most busy month of the year. We go to another youth week end in Messina ( a city about 70 miles away) where we had a very nice time. Just Before Christmas the Lord gave us an incredible opportunity. Saturday 22 and Sunday 24 we set a stand inside the biggest shopping Centre in our city. Inside there were lots of different organizations and charities, but no one of them was Christian. All of them were there to make money , we were there to show Jesus and have the chance to share His love to those who are seeking Him. We had a big frame behind us, which said: “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly”. Some people stopped to ask information about us and our mission, and with those we had the privilege to share the Gospel. It was amazing to see some of them leaving us with tears on their eyes. We gave out about 6000 flyers, 200 Christian calendars, and lots of other things.

Christmas and New years’ eve have been just amazing!! Almost 50 people come to celebrate those important days with us, and we used this great opportunity to share Jesus as much as we could. Just before New years’ eve I received a phone call from a guy who received our flyer at the shopping centre. His name is Sergio. After he received our flyer, he went to visit our web site and he has been touched from what he read on it, so he called me and we met for about 1 hour and a half. At the end he told me that he would like to know more about us and maybe there is a chance to have him for a dinner during the next weeks. Please pray for him that he would open more and more his heart to the Lord.

Those news are just the highlights, month by month, of what the Lord Jesus has done through this year. I could write lots of other stories and miracle that we saw during these 365 days. His Faithfulness, His love and His hand have been with us day by day. I would like to finish with 3 verses that I received just before the end of this year and that I believe they are what the Lord is asking us for this new year. Psalm 37:3,4,5. I hope you will be blessed from these words as much I have been.

Dear All

as always we are sorry about our little effort on comunications and we strongly hope that this e-mail will found you very well.

Coming to the end of this year we realized how time goes so fast so we would like to give you an update trying to put in words what the Lord allowed us to accomplish by His grace and what it is still in our hearts to do for His glory.

As you will know we are discipling a little group of people Melinda & Dario, Marina & Matteo, Graziella and Turi, who are also helping us in the ministry the Lord has entrusted us with Jesus Generation.

Together we organize, week after week, a Saturday night for youth, especially the ones there are not Christians yet, and a Sunday celebration for the ones which are already serious with God. During the week we also have several opportunities to spend time together having fun and discussing of important matters as well, a kind of house groups one of younger people led by Marina & Matteo, the other of married couples which we lead with the help of Melinda & Dario.

Turi is running the Thursday’s night arts, several courses for mainly not Christian people he meets trough internet or around the city at night, in which he teaches music, painting, photograph etc.

Graziella on Monday goes out with the single girls and usually that is the opportunity to bring always new friends to meet the group.

Our music band is improving even if we still need a big help (a new drum, a new keyboard, some bass player…) but every one is growing in his relationship with God and in a different level of worship. We have also a drama group now, which is starting to learn some dramas and mimes for evangelistic events.

We recently have been offered the opportunity to go in a big commercial centre, the biggest in our area, on the last two week-end of December, with a sort of bench with flyers, books and anything will help to let people understand who we are and what we do. It is just a miracle many other famous organization have been fighting to have this opportunity and are paying money to be there, while it was offered to us and for free!!! Please pray that this opportunity will be used 100% for God’s glory and that many people would be reached by His word. We bought some Christian calendars to give out for the occasion and we probably would offer our help on wrapping Christmas presents for people just to chat with them and bless them.

We are working on a little booklet made of testimonies and reflections, poems, songs and some other artistic ways to share our experience with the Lord Jesus with our not Christians friends. Turi is designing it but the youth have given their help as well. Please pray that the Lord will guide every step of the project and that He will provide the money to print many copies of it.

The property of the church ( the old “Centro Rifugio”) is finally almost sold, so we are now looking for a new place to buy which will host the church meetings and also, God willing, our project to run a Cafeteria and all the other “events” of Jesus Generation.

We are now sure that God is leading us to have a place in the city centre, beside the always present vision of the big property for the B&B, the Christian camp and all the other projects which so many time we have shared with you. Please continue to pray for guidance, wisdom and finances for this vision. We have now a bank account as Jesus Generation even if we are not able yet to refund taxes for those who will make some donations, at least now there is a board who share with us the responsibility of the administration staff!!

Finally we ask you to keep on praying for our family. This is a time when everything seems so big and we feel so little, the guys problems, the government of our nation which does not give any hope for a good future, the warmness of the traditional church, our finances which always depend on the generosity of the friends God gave us, the dreams that are still dreams and not reality yet.

To repeat what has been said on the Order of Mission conference, from an unconscious way to operate through the power of God now we have the conscience that we need His power to do everything He asks us to do, and still we lack the confidence we are the right people to do it. People willing to dedicate their lives to His calling having the discipline to spend their days at His feet, seeking His face and His heart for this generation. So please pray for us!!!

We are very grateful for everything the Lord provides for us and for the way our little Sofia is growing by His grace.

She started school last month, and now to use her words: she understood that there is not need to cry at school because mum always come to pick her up afterward. She is always happy and outgoing like Marco, and her love and kind words for us are a big reminder of the kind of love and gratitude, as children of God we should show to Him.

We are so thankful for the mercy He continues to show us giving the strength and the passion day by day to fulfill the calling He put in our hearts, and by faith we are sure that He will meet every needs we have, so we ask you once again to pray for:

Wisdom and guidance to administrate money, time and resources.
Integrity and passion to be an example for the people God put close to us.
Eyes and ears open to receive revelation from above and discernment of times and spirits.
A new car for it seems the old one wants to leave us.
Hearts desiring to keep on supporting us financially or to start to do it, for all the normal needs our family has.

We thank the Lord for the huge blessing He has given us through your friendship and love, we ask Him to bless you and your family through His infinite richness.

Dear All we would like to share with some of the thing that happened during this month of October.
The month stated with a great time of fellowship with different youth groups of Sicily. Cinzia and I had the privilege to take some of the guys of Jesus Generation to a conference for 2 days.
Even if Cinzia and I have been busy translating in different seminars for different speakers, we really had a lovely time with our group. It has been a time of worship, teaching and intimacy with God, but even lots of fun and Sicilian food!! ( amazing). During these days the Lord spoke to us about courage, faith and different ways to reach this generation for His glory. We went back home blessed and encourage from our Lord Jesus.
On the 9th of October we celebrate Sofia’s 3 birthday with a nice party and lots of kids!! With the help of some people from the church ( very skilled with kids) we had the opportunity to organize some games and puppet ‘s show. All the kids had a great time and Sofia has been blessed with so much love and lots of presents. The best one she received was the aquarium with the real fish on it! The main job now for me and Cinzia is to make her understand that those poor fish are not toys!!
About 2 Saturday ago we had our monthly meeting only for man. I took some of the guys of Jesus Generation to the top of the main crater of volcano Etna. It was almost 4 hours climbing! This time we could nor reach the very end because the weather it was not very good but we arrived almost there. When we came back we were so tired that no one of us could even talk but the experience we had together it was something special. The Lord spoke to me about the meaning of the mountain in our lives. The enthusiasm we had when we start, the discouragement we face when we realize how hard it was to accomplish our goal, all the times we were almost giving up and the amazing view when we reach 3000 meter!! I’m trying to translate what the Lord told me into English and I will put on this blog very soon hoping that it will be a blessing and for somebody else as it has been for me.
Even this month we are going to have our 24 hours prayer. We’ll start on Friday at 4pm and we will end on Saturday 4pm. If any of you have some pray request, please I encourage you to send it to us. We will pray for you!!

After a very busy week end we would like to thank the Lord Jesus for the amazing joy He gave us showing His great work in people’s lives. We had the 24h prayer during the week end and as always it was a time of intimacy and seeking His face for the need of several churches and the salvation of many friends. Richard’s time with us came to an end on Sunday. The ministry enriched he churches in Catania. The Lord gave us the privilege to baptize 3 young people from Jesus Generation. One of them Davide, he used be an atheist and finally yesterday he committed his life to Jesus. We thank you for your prayer and love! God bless all of you.

Dear friends,

Summer is almost gone, maybe for some of you it’s already gone but here in Sicily we are still having a nice hot sunny weather. Schools are opening and the guys of J.G. are busy again with their study’s plan. We are hopping Sofia will start to go to her pre-school, but she is on a waiting list for now.
September has been a month of big dates: the 4th it was our 10th anniversary and we are very thankful to God for He has allowed us to have a three days holiday in a very nice and restful place.

The 7th it was Marina and Matteo’s wedding (two of our coworkers and core team’s members), it was special, God honored this young but faithful couple with His Holy Presence and everyone who was there was feeling it and moved by it.

For almost the whole month we are having the visit of an English missionary Richard Curd, we know him from a long time and all the church here it is being blessed by his ministry.
As every last week of the month we will have a 24h prayer from Friday 28th to Saturday 29th ,
feel free to send us your prayer request, and to join us wherever you are.

We are so happy to announce you that the 30th of September we will have the baptism of four of the youth of Jesus Generation, please pray for Manuela, Noemi, Davide and Fabio for their decision to testify the work God has began in their lives and that He is their Lord, for a special protection in these days and that their walk with Jesus will be great in passion and faithfulness.

We have many projects for this coming season, of course we will start on a full rhythm with the Saturday night and with the Sunday celebration, but we have in mind some changing as well.
We are organizing a play station tournament for all the youth who are spending their nights outside in the street coming closer and closer to our gate, please pray that it will be an opportunity for them to come in and see who we are by His grace and what we do for His glory.

We will soon try to have new distributions of Book of Hope in the schools, please pray that God will open this door again so that other youths like our Stefano did last year, will give their life to Jesus. Beside Book of Hope we’d like to realize another little booklet made with testimony of different people from our group, and many sketch and dramas some of us has already wrote down.

October will see the beginning of house groups and different social activities during the week, we will take care of some but not all of them please pray for wisdom and guidance on leading those appointments, for us and for our core team: Dario & Melinda, Graziella, Matteo & Marina
and Turi.

We want to thank all of you for your constant prayer and support knowing the awesome value it has for us “Brethren, pray for us” (1 Thess 5:25)

Hello everyone,
We give thanks to the Lord for His amazing goodness, He is always faithful!!
We spent a beautiful week with Tchad, Andrea and Isaac, more than dearest friends to us, part of our family indeed; they are always God’s instruments to bring blessing in our lives in every possible area.

While enjoying some nice weather here, they observed how the work of Jesus Generation was doing, encouraging us and sharing with us what the Lord was telling them about it. It’s always a joy and a big encouragement to all the guys who know them to see them here and feeling their love for us.
We are about to change a little now the shape of what Jesus Generation is because of all the other ministry opportunity God has given to us. During the summer we are getting in touch with more people and even if for now is pretty much a social event we are literally forming small groups which will start to run after the summer time.

We are looking forward to see how the young adult Sunday celebration will be shaped after this month, and exited to realise some of our youth to lead our Saturday night. We are leading our core team to lead now!! Some of the activity will be still in D1 but others like Saturday night will be in D3 and very soon in D4.
We feel this is a time when the devil has asked to “sift us like the wheat” , many of us are going trough very difficult times, big problems, discouragement, but we know in whom we have believed in and that as it is said in 1 Peter 1:6-7 In this you greatly…..
Please pray for God’s grace upon all of us for this peculiar time, that His strength will be perfectly shown throughout our weakness.
We saw recently a new property adaptable to the vision God has given us, it is about 25km away from Catania and even if it is in the country side it is close to the sea too. It will be perfect for a B&B, retreat place or a Conference Centre a bit less for the cafeteria for it is not in a main road; we posted some pictures of it, and we will appreciate if besides your prayer for guidance on this matter you will come back to us with anything you will sense or hear from God.

This Friday as every ending of the month we will have 24h prayer, if you have any request please let us know we would be happy to add them to our list, and pray for you. We will pray from 4 pm on the Friday until the Saturday at 4pm if you’d like to join us from where you are it will be great.

Hello everyone.. we are still in England. here it does not seems summer at all. It has been raining since we arrive and it did not stop not even for one day.

The Mission Order Conference was just amazing as always. We had the wonderful privilege to share what the Lord is doing in Siclily and to receive lots of prayer from the lovely people we meet here.

Unfortunally Dario and Melinda did not have the opportunity to visit Sheffield because both their kids got sick with hight temperature and Chicken pox (I don't know if I spelled right the word, but I'm sure you understand). We spend some good time with Eunice and Peter. They have been just a fantastic blessing for all of us. Their care and love for us it was really amazing!! Thank you guys and God bless you! Sofia (as you can see from the picture above) had great fun too. She did not have any problem to play and organaizing some "attack" with the other kids even if they did not understand each other. The Power of children!

Today Dario and I helped Tchad to move lots of forniture from his old house to the new one. It has been a very busy day but we really enjoyed the fun we had while we were working. We finished the day with lots of pizza and great people who came to spend some time with us. We will leave on Monday morning very very early, about 2am from Sheffield. We are sorry that we could not have time to update this blog since the last post, but it has been a very busy time. We are leaving with Dario and melinda and all our kids to Sheffield where we will have the privilege to be part of the Mission Order Conference. It will be for sure a time of rest, fun, family and encouragment for all of us. We are really thankfull to our Lord Jesus and to those who gave us this uncreadible opportunity once again to be among our Family in St.thomas.

Please pray for guide and protection while we will be traveling with our kids and for a time of "New" things from the Lord in our lives.

Our core team (Dario,Melinda, Turi,Graziella, Marina and Matteo) and us are going to have a week end out to the other side of the island.
It will be a time of intimacy with the Lord. For this summer we would like to see the Blessing of our Lord Jesus on Jesus Generation's ministry and in all the missions we would like to do here in Sicily.
Jesus saied " I do only what my Father in Hevan ask me to do ". We want to do the same! Lots of things seems to be "good" but we want to be involve just in what the Lord wants for us and what it will be not "good" but the BEST for His kingdom.

So Please pray for this time with God that we will be able to reconize His voice and His guide for all the next steps we as a core team will do by the grace of the Lord.

Ciao dear friends,
The month of May is going so fast! After the concert in Rome we are back to normal but still exiting life here, the things are going on and we are seeing little and big miracles in our lives and in those around us, GLORY TO GOD!
In June we will have a retreat week-end with our “core group”, we want to invest time with them, praying for them, serving them, and listen to the Lord with them for the next steps, please pray that those days (the 1th to the 3th of June) will be a time God will meet all of us in a very special and deep way. This coming Saturday night it will be an “out” night we are inviting friends to come and watch with us a movie “facing the giants” please pray it will be an opportunity to see God touching many lives. The Sunday youth celebration is going well many young people from other churches have started to come. One of the oldest leader of the churches in Catania, the man who has started all of them in the latest 1974, has encouraged us in an amazing way, having received some words from the Lord on our ministry, but please keep on praying for God’s wisdom and guidance in our lives. This week-end from Friday at 16:00 to Saturday at 16:00 we will have 24 hours prayer, it will happen in the middle of a special appointment which is a ten days of world wide prayer, we invite everyone who can to join us for this event.
We would like to take the chance to thank all of you who are supporting us not only trough prayer but also financially. Recently we have received some offers from “unknown” sources too, and beside thanking the Lord for His provision we would like to thank all of you who are giving part of your finances to bless and encourage us in this way. We finally have open “Jesus Generation ministry” and in a couple of weeks we will have a bank account for the specific needs of the ministry so that if some of you wants to give not only to us as family but specifically to the mission you can.
We are still looking, as some of you have suggested to us, for a number of people who will commit them self to give 20 Euro a month to build our support, but it looks like God is not fully allowing that for now, maybe we still need to learn about depending entirely on Him, even if we do not know any other way to live an abundant life but depending totally on Him!!!!
Being sure of your love and support, we pray our beautiful Lord will keep you and bless you in His own special way and that He will keep on unifying His church in Italy and all around the world.

Delirious?
The past week-end has been one of the most beautiful in my life.
With a couple of guys we travelled from Catania to Rome, to go to the first concert of the Delirious in Italy. Not many of our youth knew this incredible band but they trust my opinion and took the chance and follow me in this tiring but exiting trip to Rome.

It was great! Through Turi who writes for a Christian magazine, I had the opportunity to interview the band with him, and we were amazed to see their humbleness and their simplicity, as they described them self : “white pieces of paper where God can write on”.

They spoke to my heart, and I pray that God will give us the opportunity to organize some days something with them.

The concert was fantastic, we were all overwhelmed by God’s presence , and it was so encouraging to see many young people all worshipping the same Lord, and once again witnessing how the music and more than any other Christian music can overcome every language and cultural barrier.
So even if a little tired we came back refreshed and recharged and I believe next time more people will come with us for a Christian concert.

Team from Coventry

From the 18th to the 26th of this past month we had the joy to have again Anne Findley with Gareth Irvine who had led for the second time a team from their “FORM ”. They were all young guys between twenty and twenty-five years old and all of them have worked hard to collect the money to come here and serve God together in Catania. We really appreciated their desire to serve along with us in the work we do through Jesus Generation to God’s glory.

With the guys from Coventry there was Jenny Campbell a lady we met the first time in Sheffield and who is part of the Mission Order as Marco and I. She has a very strong prophetic gift and she helped us to better understand this ministry and the gift of prophecy, teaching our core group on Thursday night and on Sunday at the church meeting as well.

Even though this kind of teaching was pretty new for many of the people in church, I believe it was for most of them a blessing.

We started the week-end with the most beautiful of the projects, our monthly 24 h prayer, which begun on Friday night and finished on Saturday night before our meeting with the youth. As always in that occasion God encouraged and blessed us trough His presence and some specific words which we communicated to everybody during the meeting. The guys of the team encouraged and supported Marco and some other youth while they were going out on the piazza to meet the young people who every afternoon hang out there. While they were talking to a little guy, they felt God pushed them to tell this guy the story of Zaccheo, which left him very touched and he asked what could he do to become a friend of Jesus!!!!

Then on Sunday we had two different meetings as many of you will already know, beside the traditional service, we have now another one for the young people who are starting to become very hungry for God’s presence. We asked Gareth to share with us on the freedom in worship, which many times Italian people have observed in the lives of those young “English” friends….. it was great, God’s presence ministered to all of us, and at the end of the service (almost 11,00pm )we took the guys to have something to eat outside.
Monday and Thursday had been days for practical jobs, for the collection of the food for the families in needs, and for some city sights, and because was holiday on Wednesday we decided to go to some friends of ours (Katy & Martino)who have come just recently in Sicily from U.S.A to start to work in a little village in Trapani. It is a beautiful place but very different from Florida, and they feel a little isolated, so we went there to have some rest and fun with the team but also to refresh and encourage them.

They really appreciated our presence and the beauty of those place just ministered to our soul, infact we have decided to take there the core team on the next holiday (the second of June) to have a time of rest and retreat, pleas pray it will be an opportunity for all of us to be refreshed and recharged from our Lord, and that He will unify us even more than we are now.
The team left from there to Palermo airport on Thursday, while Marco and I stayed for another night ready to start another week on the work our Lord has entrusted us with. Please continue on praying for us:
For our vision of the property;
For a help on the worship group and for a new sound system;
For our finances;
For the desire to go to the States.

Thank you for your prayers! We had a fantastic time at the first youth service on Sunday. There were around 15 of us here, and we spent more than an hour worshipping together before I shared. Some of us went for something to eat together afterwards. The youth are so excitied to have something which is for them, and we were so glad to spend lots of time worshipping - we want to see the youth become more and more hungry for God. Next Sunday we will have the team from Coventry with us. They arrive tonight, so we are preparing the house today. On Friday and Saturday we will have 24 hours of prayer at the house (from 4 pm Friday). Then they will be at the youth events Saturday and Sunday and church on Sunday. Next week we will visit Etna with the team, then they travel to stay with Martino, our friend who is church planting near Palermo, before they fly home. We also have a friend from the UK, Matthew, with us who is here for a week's holiday. We are so excited about all that is happening with the youth, please do keep us in your prayers.

Just a prayer request:
This Sunday will be a special Sunday for us and for Jesus generation. After 6 months of prayer and seeking confermation from God we will start the "youth Sunday Service" in our church. T From this Sunday there will be 2 service. One from 6pm to 8pm as normal, and another one from 8:30 pm to 10:00pm.
This last one will be the "new" one. It will be a time for all the guys who are coming on Saturday to have another wonderful opportunity to worship and seeking the Lord Jesus. We would like to preach and share the idea of "Come as you are". I really believe it's important to share the Love of Jesus to those who are "scare" about church. it will be a time of rubuilding what as been destroyed in people's lives from the enemy and we know that it will be a time where we will need Jesus more than anything else. So we would love to be support with your prayers. Everybody are very excited about this new way to GIVE a time of worship to God but we know that the enemy will try his best to stop and discourage us from receiveng the Blessing of our Lord Jesus. Please pray that the Lord will protect this time and will give us the wisdom to lead it as He wants. We really feel the responsability for the new step God called us to do. We had the privilege to spend almost 10 days with two amazing couple. Martino and Katy from Florida and John, Anna and Elijah from Sheffield. Two different couple with the same love and passion for Christ. With them we had a time of talking, laughing, sharing and crying with God. We have been blessed from this time in any way possible. The bible says “ How good and how pleasant it is For the brethren to dwell together in unity!”. Psalm 133.1 This is very true. We really had a time of encouragement for each other for what is the call that our Father gave to us.
The food and the fellowship it was incredible…. Praise the Lord for the Sicilian food!!

On Saturday night John and Anna helped us with the worship. One of the guy who is part of Jesus Generation Davide shared his life with all of us. We had some new people among us who were with us for the first time. Davide talked about the two big miracle the Lord Jesus did in his life. The Biggest one was to change his life bringing him from someone who did not believe in God at all, to someone who was giving glory and honour to HIM for saving his life!!

The second great miracle Davide was giving testimony it was the healing of one of his shoulder. Because he had an accident with his motorbike last summer, he had a surgery in the right shoulder. The doctors were trying to rebuilt one of his tendon because it was broke. About 3 week ago Davide and I were praying and he asked me to pray for healing. I prayed laying my hand on his shoulder and asking the Lord to bless Davide’s life with the healing of this tendon.

Last week Davde went to the doctor to have a check up. The doctor was a little bit shocked when he sow the result of the examination or test he did on Davide’s shoulder. The tendon was completely rebuilt and perfect. He did not have any explanation for it, but Davide started to give Glory and thanks to the Lord!! Divide is going to the gym now and he is enjoying what the Lord has done for him. Some of his friends were with us on Saturday and they were without words at the end of Davide’s story. Some of them came to me telling me that they never had such of time like this!! Praise the Lord for His touch on this people’s lives.

We are longing to see more of this happen on this generation!! Thank you again for your prayer.

Hello everyone. Yes we are still alive!!
I have been tryiong to update this blog but it has been very hard without internet in our house. I'm still using an intenet caffe near our house but it is very expencive.
We are very well and praise God very happy in our new place. The house is just fantastic. Sofia is the most happy little gierl in the world right now. We will never stop to give thanks to our Lord Jesus for such a great place.

The Jesus generation group is doing very well too! Last Saturday night we had a special out reach night and about 10 new people showed up. We are trying to reach our neightbourds. In the street where we live and where we do church, there are lots of houses and almost everyday there are group of teens just in front our gate. We invited them to come on Saturday night for fun and food ... Please if you have any ideas how to reach the people who lives in the same street send to us. We are looking for ideas to have the chance to share the Gospel with them.l

Cinzia and I are praying and working for the next step the Lord called us to do. In April we will start by the Grace of God the first Youth Sunday Service in our city. A sunday service where this new generation can offer a worship service to Jesus as they want and as they are.
Please pray for it and for Jesus generation team, because we know that it will be a battle in the spiritual realm. The enemy is trying to destroy this new generation who is wonderefuly loved by the Lord.

We are still without enternet access in our house, so it is difficoult to update this blog. Since I came back from Uk wonderful "Things" happened.
We had the Joy to have Tchad, Andrea and Isaac with us for a week end!! It was great to spend again some time togheter as Family. Tchad played football with us on Monday night and I can tell you he never played soooooo bad since I know him!!
We moved in the new place the Lord gave to us!!! It is wonderful to have a house again. Cinzia and Sofia are very happy and even if there is some work to be done, the House looks great.
We already had the Jesus Generation Night on Saturday and the first church meeting today. The Lord has blessed us reachly!! Praise HIM! I will put some photos as soon as possible. I would like to thank all of you who keep us in prayer. May the Lord Bless you...

I'm still in Uk and i'm going to finish this great week on Friday. The Lord has been very good and once again He has shared with me some great stuff about the future.
I have received my ordination and while the people were praying for me the Lord remind me to not have fear because fear does not take me anywhere, but the Faiht is the only tool He can use to make even the impossible thing to happen.
I will be in Sicily on Saturday.... I cannot wait to hug my Little " terrorist" Sofia and my lovely Cinzia!!!

hello everyone from England! Yes, I'm in Uk right now for about a week. We should be here as a family with Cinzia and Sofia, but because they got sick they could not come.
I still don't understand why the Lord allowed this to happen but I trust Him because He knows everything!! During this week I will join the Mission Order for the rest of my life, I will meet lots of friends and I will have the privilege to talk with some of the people who have a desire to bless our ministry in Sicily supporting us with team and prayer.

Our New house is almost ready to go!! Cinzia and I are looking forward to seeing what the Lord will do in this new place and during this new seaseon that it is starting with this week in Sheffiled which is our Spitiual Home!!

We are still organizing the new house! for the last 10 days we have been cleaning, unpacking and moving furniture. It is so nice to see the new house taking shape everyday.
Almost all the guys from Jesus Generation gave us a huge help during this time. It is great to see the excitement they have to work in this new place that they feel already their own house too.
we should go to England on Friday for a week. It is a very important trip for us, but Cinzia and Sofia are very sick at the moment and we don't know if we will be able to go together. We appreciate your prayer during this time for healing and protection.
We really believe that this trip it is so important for us and for our future that the enemy is trying to keep us away from the opportunity to see our brothers and sisters from the Mission Order, sharing with them our time and have a chance to rest and to be refreshed as a family.

Hello everyone,
Did you have a nice Christmas... I hope yes!!
Anyway... we are moving to the new place and as you can imagine it means lots of work.... The first event in the new house it will be the celebration of new years eve with all the group of Jesus generation and some others friends!! We are starting a new season, in a new place celebrating a new year. Funny isn’t?

I will update this blog as soon as possible… Cinzia, Sofia and Myself wish for all of you an amazing new year full of the Blessing and the peace of our Lord Jesus. Our Prayer for this 2007 is that May the Lord Jesus fills each one of His children with an abounded lives as He has promised!!!

Our God is Good!! I would like to open this update with these words just because it is true!!
We had a wonderful experience yesterday with the Lord’s goodness while we were having the meeting with the landlord. It was a special meeting where all of us have been blessed from the lovely presence of our Lord Jesus among us.
The landlord and his wife were so happy and full of peace that I was amazed. They said that the Lord clearly told them to rent the house to us and He confirmed it giving them His peace and joy.
Cinzia and I have been so blessed to hear those words that you cannot imagine. Once again the Lord showed to us how great He is and how wonderful is to be His children.
Of course from January on we have to pay 1000 euro a month, but we are sure that He will take care of us always. I already baptized this house the “House of testimony” because I’m sure that God will use this place to show to people Who He is and all His care and love for His people.
We will move in this new place at the beginning of the New year, starting so a new season with God.
We thank you sooo much all of you who has been praying for us. A big thanks to Tchad, Andrea, John and Liz. You are our angels!! We love all of you very much and we will never stop to give praise to our Lord for all the wonderful brothers and sisters around the world.

Hello everyone

I did not have a time to update the blog because we had a very busy week. Cinzia and I decided to move from our place to Cinzia' parents house. We really believe that our time at the "Centro Rifugio" is finished. We still are praying and waiting to know the Perfect God's will for our lives and until the Lord will not show us the next step we "rent" a small room for the 3 of us.

Of course it is not what we want or what we need but we did not have any others options.
I had a conversation with the landlord couple of days ago. He told me that he could not rent the house to us because he misunderstand some words in our previous meeting, but when I explained to him everything properly, He changed !!!

I believe the enemy tried to put confusion in his mind to make everything more difficult for us. The Lord had been faithful and in control! Now, He is waiting for my call because he asked me a remake our offer for the rent. We told him that we could pay 600 euro a month, but for the kind of house is very cheap rent, so he said if we could pay a little bit more than that he would be very happy to give us the house!

I spoke to him just 2 days ago and he told me that the amount of money he wants every month is 1000 euro. At the beginning I was a little discouraged but after a conversation with Cinzia and some of the other close people, we felt peace. Several brothers and sisters are praying for a clear guidance from the Lord Jesus in this situation and we can feel that our Lord will not allow any mistake with this house.
We have the final meeting tomorrow morning with the landlord and it will be the last one, so if any of you will read this blog, please keep un in your prayer.

We are praying because of course we don’t have enough money to do it, but we know that if God will confirm this house He will be the faithful ONE who will help us to pay this house.

I started the Revelation Study on Sunday for the church where we are serving. It has been a privilege for me to start this study . As some of you know I love this Book and I thank God for the chance He is giving to me to share it with the church.

We had a great day as a family last week and Sofia had her first experience with a horse… She was the most happy girl in the world. Praise the Lord for all the good “ Things He gave us”.

Please keep us in your prayer. Pray for this situation with the house, pray that the Lord will give us a clear direction for the next steps. Pray that we can have our own house soon.( After 6 years we still wait for it.).

Just an update about the house:
We meet the landlord on Sunday and we talked about the rent and our desire to rent the house. He asked me how much we were willing to pay and I said that we could pay no more than 600 euro per month. He was not very happy with that because he is trying to rent the villa for 1200 euro (The double!!!).

I asked him to pray and to be free to make his own decision. I told him that his YES or No it will be for us the answer and the confirmation from God too. The most important thing for me and Cinzia is to be sure of God's will in this situation. We are praying to make the right step with the Lord and until He will not confirm His perfect will for us we will not move, but in the same time we are facing another winter where we live and it is very hard for us (especially for Sofia) to keep living in a place that needs lots of works of reconstruction.

Please keep this situation in your prayer.
Pray that if the Villa is the place that the Lord wants give to us that He will touch the heart of the Landlord or if God has something different for us that he will guide us to it.

We had a great time with Lisa, Lynn, Jenny. They have been a great blessing for lots of ladies and for the youth!!

Hello sorry for the late!|

As many of you know we have been praying to find a place for us as a family. We knew that the place where we are living at the moment it was no more good for us for lots of different reasons. The most important one it is too cold during the winter and so we asked to the Lord to show us His will so we could follow it.

In the same time the room we are using for our youth's night on Saturday it is to small now and we were wondering where to put all the people that the Lord is bringing to us.

Just 2 days ago during a conversation with a couple from our core group, we came to know about this huge villa which is perfect for what we would like to do for the Kingdom. It is perfect for us, for Saturday night and to host teams.

The Landlord is a lovely Christian and he told us that he really feel that he should rent this place to us.

We did not decide anything yet.. we are praying to make sure that this is what the Lord wants for us. Please pray for us too and if you feel anything please let us know.

We will call him in 2 days time to know how much it will be the rent every month and after that we will have to make a decision.

Last night Lisa Callins and another 2 gierls came from Calvary Chapel Bible college Hungary to spend couple of days with us.

Ciao everyone who is reading this blog!! It has been one of the most wonderful week we had since we are in Sicily!! the Lord Jesus did more that we could even imagine!! The team from Calvary Chapel Shoreline has been a huge blessing for us and for Jesus Generation ministry.
The concert we had last saturday was very very good. I mean the band was just Fantastic and all the people around us has been blessed from them and from the wonderfull time of worship we had! Couple of people gave their lives to Jesus and all the rest of the group received lots of encouregement and a new passion for Jesus!! Praise The Lord!!
On Sunday morning we had the baptize on the beach. Sara, Paolo, Naomi and Stefano have been baptized. I cannot how much joy we had in our heart when these 4 people get in the water to commitment their lives with the Lord. It was the first time for me to baptize someone and it was amazing!! Stefano came to be baptized agaist the will of his family and even if it was hard for him to do it, the desire to honor his saviour was more strong than anything else.
During the week we collected even the olives from our trees and we made our own olive oil. The guys from California really enjoed this new experience.
We thank you so much because we know that some of you have been praying for all this and let me tell you that we really felt the blessing upon us.. so thank you!

After 4 days in Rome we are back home. it was good to spend some time with Luca and Deby and all our friends and family there.
The team from Calvary Chapel Shoreline is here with us!! Praise the Lord!! They arrived at Catania airport after 14 hours flying from California. We had our first time worship after dinner and it was just Amazing!!
On Saturday night we will have the concert and all of us are looking forward to see what the Lord has prepared for His glory. Please pray for it because the enemy jas already tryed to make problems and to stop us to have this uncreadible chance to present Jesus Christ to those who does not know Him.
On Sunday Morning Sara, Paolo, Noemi e Stefano ( the guy from Book of Hope distribution) are going to be baptized on the beach. PLease keep these people on your prayer (expecialy Stefano) because the enemy is trying his best to discourege them.

We had a very important meeting last night with the leadership of the church where we are serving. We talked about some important stuff for the future and Cinzia and I shared with them some of our dreams and vision that the Lord gave to us. Once again we have been amazed to see the openness and the availability of them in all the points we touched.

We really believe that the Lord is preparing the ground for something special here! We are already seeing it every Saturday night. Last week we could not close the pray room because everybody wanted to spend time with the Lord there. We prayed for one another and I think we had one of the most FANTASTIC time of worship since we started our Saturday night. One girl came inside the room and crying she said to us " I never see before somebody close to God like this group of people" Praise the Lord!!!

Now we are organizing the Christina concert on the November the 4 with the band from California "What about Sunday". (www.whatabaoutsunday.com)We rent a small public place (About 150 sits) and our prayer is that the Lord will fill the place with lots of people who does not know HIM and fill the Place with His Glory so THEY MAY SEE AND KNOW, AND CONSIDER AND UNDERSTAND TOGETHER THAT THE HAND OF THE LORD HAS DONE THIS, AND THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL HAS CREATED IT. (Isa.41.19,29)

I'm trying to have another distribution of Book of Hope in the School. It is hard to go through but I know that the Lord will open the doors no one could open!!

Please pray for us, for the time the team will spend here, for the people who are close to God and for those who are still far away.

We Celebrated Sofia's second birthday!! She had a great party with lots of others kids and presents. It was wonderful to see Sofia and all these kids playing and laughing for about 2 hours. They had some games,sweet food and lots of fun!!
At the end of the night Sofia was the most happy little girl in the world.

Ciao everyone,
Sorry for the late, but since I came back from England I did not have time to update this blog.
We had a wonderful week with Tchad Andrea and Isaac. They came here in Sicily for a week to spend some quality time together.
Cinzia and I have been very busy in doing lots of different things and and little by little we recognized how much rest in the Lord we needed.
It is very easy to get lost in the ministry and I think the Lord with all His goodness toke us back on the right track, reminding us that what is important for Him is our being and not our doing.
Now we are working on our schedule trying to give the right place to everything being very careful how and where we are spending our time and energy. We believe it is very important to live a life on the right balance.

Last Sunday we went to see for the second time a Propriety on the cost. It seems to be perfect for what we need and for the vision the Lord gave us. It is very big with lots of land and a huge house where we could do the bed and breakfast and the cafeteria. It is on one of the main road and about 2/3 Km from the beach. The cost to buy it is 1.000.000 of euro.
We are praying about it and moving in faith waiting for His confirmation and provision. We started Lifeshapes in 2 different churches this week....the people are loving it!! Praise the Lord.

Hi everyone,
I’m sorry if I did not have a chance to update the blog before but I could not find time during our England tour to do it.
What can I say? I’m still without words. Our first mission trip around UK was just FANTASTIC!
From Sheffiled to London through Coventry and Oxford the time we had was full of Jesus.
All the 12 of us had such a time that I’m sure no one of us will forget for the rest of our life. I will try to resume this time for you as good as possible but it will be very difficult.
Sheffiled: A time to meet lots of old friends from our Spiritual home St. Thomas church. The guys in the team had their first worship time in an English church with English songs! Cool!!
We had a lovely pic nic in one of the most beautiful place around Sheffiled and 2 B&Q nights with Tchad, Andrea, Eunice, Peter and lots of others wonderful friends. Thank you guys for all you have done for us!! A Huge Blessing for all of us. Matteo and I jumped from a Bridge on the river....the water was uncredible COLD, but it was very cool!!
Oxford: Past. Paul with his wife Palm, Peter and Titty have been just a lovely blessing too. We spend 2 days with them. The Lord Jesus used this time to challenger some of the guys on the team. We had a prayer time just before a service meeting on Wednesday night. During this time the Lord gave some words for the church to some of the guys on the team. It was the first time for them sharing a word from the Lord for somebody and that made them fell good because they understood that the Lord wants and can use them. After the worship we went on the street to give out some Mars bar to the people, telling them “Jesus loves you” or “ God cares about you”. We had the great opportunity to pray for a couple on the street and to see the people touched from Jesus through a small gift. All the guys on the team at the end were so encouraged and happy that all of them now are ready to do the same here in Catania. Praise the Lord!!!! A big thank you to Paul, Palm, Peter and Titty for the Kindness and Love you shared with us. Thank you for the shower, food and the patience you had with us… especially Paul when we get lost on the river!!!!! Bless you.
Coventry: To short!!! We wished to stay longer and next time we come we will do it! It was so good to see again Ana, Peter and all the guys from the team who came here in Sicily last March.
We had a great time sharing our visions, playing and chilling out with them. On Thursday night we had a small study about the baptism. I did not have any idea about what the Lord had prepared for us ( It is always like that). When the Study finished we made 2 groups. One group to pray for those in the team needed to invite Jesus in their lives ( I had 2 no Christian guys on my team) and the other was for those who decided to be baptize. What happened after was beyond my expectation. The Holy Spirit touched all of them so powerfully that it was very hard for me to close to meeting, and when I did that some of them stayed on the floor for another hour!!! Wow!!
The morning after some of the guys of the church toke us in a very poor area where they are trying to work for the Kingdom. We spend about 2 hours praying around this place for different reasons. A great experience with the Lord. In Coventry we had the most AMAZING dinner of our time in UK. Two guys of the church cooked a great meal for us and as Italians we have been shocked from IT!!!
Thank you VERY much for your love, care and kindness to us. You are in our hearts and prayers!!
London: Just a tourist and a funny time!! The Lord gave us a great week end providing everything we needed. I would like to give a big thank you to Rev. Richard to let us sleep for one night in his church “ The Methodist Center in Chelsea” Thank you for your kindness and for you trust. You have been a huge blessing for all of us. We visited some of the London’s highlights and we sow Prince Carlo and Camilla just 2 meters distance from us!! God is good and faithful!!
Please forgive me if I’m forgetting someone… all of you have been precious to us. Without you and your help we could never have this AMAZING time!! You have been part of that great plan the Lord Jesus had for these guys and He used all of you to be an instrument that could touch their lives for ever!! I Praise Him for each one of you… I really hope to see you again soon!!

The last 2 days and we will leave for the first "mission" trip of Jesus Generation!!
The Lord has been amazing!! He provided everything for all of us to make this trip possible. 12 people will come with us and I would like to ask you to pray for them. 2 of them are not even Christian!!!
We will go to Sheffield, Oxford, Coventry and London!!Wow I still cannot imagine What the Lord can do in 10 days going around these places!!

God is Good!! this is what I can say about my first wedding's preaching! I was very excited for almost all day and I was scared to say something wrong at the most wonderful day of this guys's lives. When the Pastor called me to preach.... I prayed telling to God " now, it's all about you... PLEASE HELP ME".

About 90 people were there and the most of them were youth adult.. and just 10 people were Christian! The Lord Jesus gave me a message from John 2 "the First Miracle at CANA". I shared the desire that Jesus still have to change people's lives from something "Normal" to soemthing" Very Specila" giving them an Abaundand life!

At the end of the service somebody came to me telling me " it was great" but It was not because me...I can tell you...God is the Great one!

The Lord Jesus made Cinzia's voice "Special" and new married couple had a wonderful time during the cerimony while Cinza sang some of the most beatiful Christian songs!

Praise HIM!!!!

After 26 days with us Max left Sicily to go back and start a new semester at the Calvary Chapel Bible College in Hungary. He has been a real blessing and a great help for Jesus Generation's ministry. Everybody enjoyed his company ( especially the other guys who have been sleeping in the same room with him....playing video games untill late on the night!!) and appreciated his humbleness. We pray that the Lord will give us another opportunity to have again a time like this (maybe next summer). In the meantime we pray that the blessing and the provision of our Lord Jesus would be on Max's life carrying him wherever he will be.

Wow... I have not words to tell you how amazing it was ti jump out of an airplane from 4200meters. it has been just AAMMAAZZIIINNGGGG!!
We reached the 4200 meter in 20 minutes and it took me just 2 min. to touched the ground. To see the ski from that high it is something very special... the silent that you can "hear" it is indescribable and Just when I was up there I realized how much I missed all those wonderful "things" you can find up to the sky.!!
I really want give thank to the Lord to provide the money and the opportunity to do it again. lots of thank to my lovely wife Cinzia for said "yes" to her crazy husband and for the fact she understand one of the my heart's passion.

Ciao everyone…
We had a very funny day with almost all the youth from Jesus Generation! We have been in WAR!!
A war of water!! There were 2 teams one against another faithing without mercy to win territory.
Everybody was involve and there was nobody with dry clothes.

Max (the student from the Bible college) was against me and my team and at the end he was the loser and I was the winner!! ( I have told him to faith for me!!).
Another 2 days and I will jump from 4200 meter (13 800ft). I’m very excited to do it again after 12 years.

Today one of my friends from Rome came to visit us for a couple of days. He is not Christian (yet)…please pray for him that during this time together the Lord could touch his heart!!

WE are still looking for a new propriety for the vision the Lord gave to us. Just yearstarday Cinzia and I went to look another one.
It was nice with lots of land all around and a big building (need to be rebuilded)in the middle. All of this was just 10min. away from the beach.
We don't know if this is the right one and as you can easly imagine it is not easy at all for us to reconize the propriety the Lord has prepared for us.
We need lots of prayer and faith. We would like to ask for prayer and if anybody receives any thing from the Lord about the propriety we would like to hear from you.

What a crazy time!! I have been so busy that you cannot imagine. Saturday we had another great night here… a couple and another guy came for the first time and for the first time they heard the Gospel.

We had 2 games and to introduce the topic of JOY! Everybody had fun and lots of laughing! After that Max shared his testimony telling to everyone how difficult it has been to find Joy in this world even trying everything this world can offer to you.

For the first time we had LIVE worship!! Finally the Lord gave us the great opportunity to put together a BAND!
Davide at the drums, Orazio at the bass, Turi At the electric guitar and Cinzia the “voice”!
We had a great time worshiping and they lead us very well!! Praise the Lord for it.

On Sunday I helped some relative to move his furniture from Rome to Catania and I had to drive for about 2000 km in 2 days…. I came back last night and the last straight I had I used playing on te bed with Sofia.

Today I have booked my day to jump with the parachute! It will be on the 18th of August from 4200 meter!! I have been waiting for the last 10 years for Cinzia says yes and she finally did!!
I cannot wait to be again in the sky very “ close” to God.

We are back home! After a great week of holiday we came back home last Saturday. We spend our last day off taking Sofia to one of the biggest AcquaPark of Italy which is just 10 min. away from our place. if there is something that Sofia loves that is Water... and she was in her "Kingdoms". We have been swimming and playing a different swimming pool for about 8 hours!! At the end I was exhausted and Sofia was the most Happy girl in the world!
Last Saturday for Jesus Generation night we watched a movie "Fighting Temptation" (if you have a chance watch it). After the movie we talked about the Freedom we have in Jesus and the different between "Religion" and "following Jesus".

Today Max a student from Calvary Chapel Bible College arrived!! He will be with us for almost all the month and I'm sure we are going to have a great time togheter. He will help us leading worship,organizing the Saturday night and in lot of others pratical works we need to do.

I'm still working to the Trip in England. We had some difficulty to rent the mini van for 10 days in Uk but Thanks to the Lord first and to Peter (thank you buddy you are an angel)we finally found it with a very Good Price. Please keep us and this trip in your prayer.

Hello everyone...
I'm sorry if I could not update the blog untill now, but we are having a week off in a small house on the one of the most beatiful cost of Sicily. The Lord has been good with us and He gave a chance to us to spend a week of rest and fun with our little "Terrorist" Sofia!!

Last Saturday night it was Amazing!! About 50 people came to Jesus generation night and we had a great time with the Lord Jesus. All the youth enjoed the night and almost all of them received something from God!! Praise Him!!

The Lord finally saied Yes to our first "Mission Trip" to England!! I still cannot belive it!! 12 people already signed for the trip and about a week ago we made the ticket!! 6 boys and 6 gierls will go for the first time in UK and it will be the first experience outiside Italy!!!

We will be in Uk from the 8th to the 18th of September!! We would like to visit Sheffield, Coventry and Oxford spending about 2/3 days to each one of these city.
I belive it will be great to for these guys to get close with other Brother and Sister and to see what the Lord is doing over there.

Plese pray for this trip and for Saturday night.... it is very important for us.

Finally we finished to work!!We started ourfirst Saturday night outside!!
We puted tables, lights and a big screen!! All the youths are very happy to have a place like it where every saturday night they can gather togheter havig fun, food and worship!!
We just start a study about the Da Vinci Code. Here in Italy it is a very big deel. Lots of people are deceived from it and especially among the new generation.

We are using a Christian dvd and the Bible against this huge lie the enemy is puting in people's minde.

Please pray that the Lord will open the eyes and the hearts of these people and He will give us wisdom to find the right way to share the love and the true of God to them!!

Once again the Lord has been very good to us!! He gave us 5 Fantastic days with Gapastione's team from California. It was a time of fun and build friendship with all of them and what the Lord has done in this short time was amazing!!!

We have been spending this time with the youth of Jesus generation giving to God the opportunity to work in each one of us throught prayer, worship, testimony and even fun and food!!! We'll pray for more time like this next year hoping that our Father will open the doors for us to be togheter again!!

First of all, hey everyone! Sorry I haven't been able to update lately. It has been crazy. We were in Englad for almost a week to join The Mission Order conference in Sheffield. It was a refreshing time for us to hear from God and retreat. God has been so faithful to us and giving us words of encouragement for the future. During the conferece we were reading through and thinking about Phillipians 4:13, when Paul says that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. It was amazing how God spoke to us through this verse. Cinzia's parents were commissioned and became part of the mission order. We were also able to take Graziella with us. She is a great member of our core team. It was her first time in England and she was a little shocked by how different the culture was there. Even though the driving and the marmite was a little crazy for her, she left England feeling that she grew in her relationship with God.

Sophia really enjoyed playing with the English kids. I was amazed to see how easy it was for them to just play even though most of them had never met and didn't speak the same language. What a clear picture of how God's people in the church should be.

Last week, we had the joy of having a visiting pastor, his wife, and another couple from Calvary Chapel, Debrecean, Hungary. It was a week of fun. It was good to spend time with them together again.

RIGHT NOW we have a team from California with us and we are having fun. Even though they are here for a short time (only 5 days) it feels like we have known each other for a long time. Please pray for a youth night we have organized for this Thursday night with some music, sharing and a time to hang out with the youth.

I am very sorry for you and for your teams that are already home and enjoying their families while OUR TEAM IS IN THE FINALS!!! Hello everybody!! We are just back from the north Italy!! We had a great week with my brother and my sister in low. Last Saturday they got merried and all my family were there to celebrate the most important day of their lives.
We had the opportunity to go to Milan and to visit the first Christian pub in Italy. The sheep ( le pecore) the pub's name is very nice place with a great stile and it is at the very centre of Milan. We meet on the gierl who is in charge of the pub and we asked her some advice about running a Christian pub....
This place is very close to What the Lord puted in our hearts 5 years ago and to know that for someone it is already something real it is an encouragement for us!
WE will be in Sheffield next week for the mission order gathering.... we cannot wait to be there!!

A Prayer request: I don't know if it will be the same in your country, but here in Italy today is a battle day!!! We know that today 06/06/06 is the day that all the people who worship satan are gathering togheter to interceed against Christianity.
They are using this day beliving that the 06/06/06 is the day of the antiChrist. These people made some poster and tracks to invite other people to come and be part of these meetings. Almost all the churches here are praying against this event and I would like to ask you to do the same.
We know that we don't need to pray for Victory becouse we already have it in Jesus Christ but we Pray that the Holy Spirit will open people'eyes so they can worship the real King, the Only one, Jesus Christ!!

Hey… Tuesday has been an amazing day for the Kingdom!
We went at the school and the Lord gave us the great privilege to share the Gospel to 600 students.... we went classroom by classroom giving out the Book of Hope magazine to all the students there. All of them was very happy to receive it.
After hearing a short presentation of the Gospel one of the teacher said: " I can see what you are telling us is true through your eyes"
Praise the LORD!!!
The Lord is so good!! I really want to thank each one of you for your prayer and support!!
We already received one email from a student who is very touched by the magazine and interested also to come to our Saturday night meeting.. His name is Stefano.
Please pray that Stefano can receive the most important Gift ever…. Jesus as a Saviour!!
We will have the last distribution before the end of the school on the 24th of this month..... please keep us and this ministry in your prayer.

We had a great week end with Tchad, Andrea, Isaac, John and Liz!! It was Fantastic to see them again and to spend time sharing what the Lord has done in each one of our lives during the last 3 months.
We went to see some propriety and we talked and prayed about our vision for the next future.
Even for the people here it was such of joy to see again Tchad, Andrea and the Little Isaac.
They shared on Saturday night how good and faithful the Lord Jesus has been with them after they left Sicily and all the youth have been encouraged and challenged by their testimony.
We thank the Lord Jesus for such of wonderful time together….thank you guys and God bless you!!!

Hello everyone,
I would like to share with you what the Lord has done during this past week end.
For the first time in our lives we had the opportunity to organize a youth week end and spend 3 days
Making new friends and giving to God more chance to “rebuild” what has been destroyed in people’ lives (Isa. 58:11,12).
It has been one of our dreams to see youth and young adult together with the same desire to be close to God and worship HIM as one body and the Lord has made it in reality!!
What the Lord has done it was beyond our expectations! During these days people have been healed, saved and encouraged from our Lord Jesus Christ!!
I cannot describe how wonderful it was His presence among us using words. Every time we were gathering together ready to worship Him and spending time praying for each other or sharing from His Word it was hard to close the meeting even after 2 hours!!
Everyone wanted to stay there to receive more from Jesus.
We had a really great time of fun and fellowship with this guys and at the end of the week end no one wanted go home!! Praise God!! He is so GOOD!!
All the people who has been with us for the event asked already to do another one soon…. Can you imagine? This generation is hungry for the Lord and every time they have such of experience with Him they realized how important and real is Jesus today!! He is not a religion but He is the Only one who can give an abundant life! (John.10:10).I would like to give thank to Jesus first and to all the brothers and sisters around the world who have been praying for this week end!!! May the Lord bless you reachly.

We had another FANTASTIC week with a team from Calvary Chapel Bible College Europe!
5 wonderful American gierls who have been working very hard helping us in different ways.
It was a special time God gave to us and we will keep it in our hearts for ever.

What can I say? It has been a wonderful time! Past. Paul, Palm, Lidia, Jessica, Peter, Titty, Timmy, and Michel have been a great encouragement and blessing for me and Cinzia.
We had a such a lovely time together that it is difficult to find the right words to describe it.
We have been praying, worship, sharing, eating, playing and lots of other things and I can tell you that in all these things Jesus was in our middle.

He has been the One Who made a normal week in something Special.

Paul and Peter helped me and Cinzia on Saturday night with the youth and all of them have been touched from the Lord.
On Sunday night after Paul preached in church the Holy Spirit worked so much in people lives that we had to stay and pray for them for about a hour after the service finished.
God is so good that He will never finished to surprise me in doing more than I can imagine.

Tha kids are really amazing! They have been the best in everything we did during this week and they anjoyed very much to go and visit the Volcano Etna and swimming on the beach.

I will never stop to give thank and glory to God for the blessing we received from all the brothers and sisters He is sending here in Sicily to help us in everyway possible!!

Okay so it has been a long time since I have updated this blog. It has been great watching Marco and Cinzia keeping up the updates from Sicily, however, I really have not had time. So what's been going on? Firstly we have had a son - hooray!

Isaac Joshua Western was born at 3am to the second on Saturday the 1st April 2006. He is doing well and is healthy. Andrea is doing fine and it has been great taking him out in his buggy, walking him to the shops and on the bole hills. He is soooo gorgeous. And yes I know I will be biased, but look at him - he is amazing.

I've still not got the hang of the crying, nor of the nappies - man they are grim. Andrea is amazing always calm when I panic with him crying - she is a fantastic mum. We've had Andrea's parents and her sisters and brother visiting and also my mum, too. My dad and mum will come and visit this weekend and all our friends are being amazing - we have had so many gifts and cards and loads of people offering to cook us meals. A massive thankyou to all of you.

Up until just a week or so before the birth we had been living with some great friends of ours John and Liz. The plan when we got back to England was for me to look for some work and Andrea and I to get the house sorted asap - plastering, tiling, painting , carpets etc.

However, God had other plans and I got a job almost straight away with an amazing company called TechnoPhobia. They are a web design and consultancy firm based in the Workstation in Sheffield. This has meant that Andrea has done most of the work on the house which looks fantastic.

We had a great time togheter during these 7 days.
The team from Coventry has been just Amazing! They have been working on the land very hard and it was wonderful to see their servant 's hearts.
They have been a great encouragement and blessing for me and Cinzia.
One of the most great things the Lord has done was bringing UNITY among us since the first day they came. We had some difficoult days due of some virus the guys catched but the Lord turn that in Blessing too.
It was amazing to see people praying for each other and taking care to those in need. We did an outreach in one of the square of Mascalucia (the place where we live) and lots of youth in the square had been touched by the drama and the testimonies we gave. Praise the Lord!
They left this morning at 4am but what thet did for us and the church here will be in our hearts for ever. Thank you guys and lots of love Marco,Cinzia and Sofia

We just started the 24h prayer! We will pray untill tomorrow at 2pm for intimacy, healing, and more of God's Kingdom around us. The team from UK is doing an amazing work and all of them are a huge blessing for me and Cinzia.
